Welcome to AFTEX

The regional voice of ASEAN textiles

Founded in 1978, AFTEX is Southeast Asia’s regional trade organisation for the textile and apparel industry. Its members are the national associations of nine countries, each representing an extensive base of manufacturers, exporters and suppliers.

The Federation is governed by its Council of Chief Delegates, which meets in rotation among member countries. The Permanent Secretariat carries its decisions forward between meetings.
